This might be it.
A all out war may be breaking out as these words are being written.
An Israeli jeep has been hit with a anti tank missle and apparently there are dead and wounded.
If Israeli soldiers were killed than we are in the beginning of another war in the North.
It does not look good.
Israel is attacking with the air force targets on the Lebanese side of the border.
If Chizballah desides to launch missiles into Israel then another round of the ongoing Lebanon war will ensue.
Israel cannot and will not let a attack such go without a extreme response.
That response will likely trigger war in the north.
There was a first Lebanon war called "peace for Galilee"
It did not bring peace.
Then there was another war without a real name that left many in Israel feeling that the IDF was not ready for war.
It was not.
Since then the IDF has trained intensively preparing for what seems to be happening right now.
It looks like war.
So what else is new?

Obama is weak
The prime minister of Israel is to speak to the Congress of the United States without even meeting the president. The President does not want this meeting.
The official reason is that a meeting might be interpreted as trying to influence the upcoming Israeli elections.
The truth is that not having a meeting also influences the upcoming elections.
Making it look like there is extra strife between Obama and Netanyahu.
Obamas weakness with regard to Iran and Isil is very clear.
Negotiations with Iran have been dragging out for years and been extended twice.
The new world terror threat Isil has had relative immunity from Obama and the rest of the world.
The US and its allies know where Isil is and the infamous murderer Jihad John.
They have chosen for now to do little to stop Isil,
It is possible that a very detailed extensive mission is being planned to surprise and destroy much of Isil in a attack.
It is reasonable to assume that this contingency plan is being worked on right now.
Will Obama approve such a move?
He has consistently refrained from directly engaging extremist groups and there seems to be little reason to assume he will start now.
The Prime minister of Israel will tell the world what it needs to hear.
That would be that radical world Islam that promotes Jihad is a real threat to the world.
It must be destroyed as soon as possible.
There must be a coordinated effort of the free world in this regard.
This is WW3 and must be fought as a global threat.
Obama should listen to the speech.
Maybe he will learn something.
He has been directly threatened by Isil.
Shouldn't that stir him up to do something?
One can hope of course.

Greece the Euro and the stock market
You have to love it when a person or country borrows money and then refuses to pay it back.
Incredibly enough an entire country has decided to shrug off a payment plan for its debts because it seems to severe and difficult.
In plain English they do not want to pay back their debts.
They will leave the Euro and damage that currency even more,
It will shake up markets in Europe and in the short term lower prices on Wall street.
Wall street will recover but Greece will suffer the most as it will find it very difficult to borrow money from anyone.
The price they pay for money will be very high as they are making happy the voters but destroying whats left of the economy of the country.
In the long term all this may bode well for Wall street for the reasons I will explain.
As it becomes clear that investment in some types of Hedge funds that have seemingly large revenues will become problematic.
These funds will be based on buying debt at a very large price which ultimately may not get paid back.
The more steady if sometime volatile American stock market will be much more attractive to outside investors.
This will push up Wall street even more than its historical highs of right now.
Spain was in similar trouble a few years ago and seems to have stabilized despite the hardship of austerity.
The Greeks are not known as the hardest working people in the world and the Chutzpa of voting not to repay debt to creditors is astounding.
They will suffer the most as they will need to revert to their old currency and the rampant inflation that will follow.
A Greek tragedy in more ways than one.

Everybody trying to bring Bibi down
It is incredible how many Israeli politicians and news reporters are doing anything they can do to derail the reelection of Benjamin Netanyahu.
It has become an obsession of sorts "Just not Bibi".
It seems the downfall of Bibi is more important than the even getting elected themselves.
Every day there are trumped up headlines that accuse Bibi or his wife of some kind of infraction on almost anything you can think of.
It's a constant barrage that seeks to slowly convince the public that something is wrong with Netanyahu.
It has become almost a joke all the screaming headlines that appear day after day after day.
It is safe to say that many find empathy with someone who is being constantly attacked and will vote for him because of that.
Chances are that he will be the next prime minister again despite the crazy campaign being waged.
His experience in handling crisis is extensive whereas his opponents do not have a clue what really needs to be done.
Israel is faced with formidable challenges in the weeks and months ahead.
With some of his shortcomings he is the best to lead the government in this regard.
Most people understand this.

Crazy Islam
All they want to do is to make the entire world Islam under Shariah law.
Those who resist will be killed.
Its that simple.
There is the option of living as second class citizens under Shariah law of course while paying certain taxes that go together with that privilege.
If there are a billion and a half Moslems then that would mean some would acceppt Shariah law and some would not.
That would mean ostensibly billions of people dead as they would be infidels against Islam.
The Islamists themselves are not bothered by the notion that millions and millions will need to be killed.
They are getting very good at that now.
The world has entered a different phase as the ultimate war of religons seems to be unfolding before our eyes.
There is no real end to this war no matter what anybody does.
These people are no the Nazis that can be killed and then democracy takes hold.
These are not the Japanese that were reformed after WW2.
To this war there is no real end just containment and continual battle.
Not a very nice picture bu the reality none the less.
Europe would do well to be as aggressive as possible with extremists and close down almost all Islamic charities.
The world has advanced on many fronts but we are all heading into a very long period of violence with backward crazed people.
Heaven help us.

Israeli Elections, What a mess!
There is a real possibility that the upcoming elections in Israel will end in stalemate.
No faction or party will have what is needed it seems to form a coalition of a solid 61 knesset members.
This is not trivial as the prospect of a national unity government seem also near impossible.
It is likely at the end of all this mess that the Likud with little of its own knesset members will form a right wing government which will have difficulty functioning.
Great difficulty.
The numbers go like this
Likud 23 + Jewish home party 16 + Agudat yisroel 8 + party of Moshe Chaclon 8 + Shass 6 = 61
if Eli Yishai gets in he will join as well making it 65.
The left has much more little chance to form the next government
They have labor 24 + lapid 11 + merezt 6 =41 + arab parties 11 =52
Liberman will not sit with merezt and cannot agree to demands of the Chardie parties
No matter how you look at it its a big mess.

What happened to the Palestinian state?
As terrorists strike Europe everyone has seemingly forgotten the Palestinian issue.
No one truly cares in the real sense, the issue is the default issue when there is nothing to talk about.
The chance of a state the way they want it is the same chance of a Isis flag flying on top of the White House.
It is not happening any time soon as all really know.
Its a jihad pipe dream of sorts that keeps the groups going.
Only the crazies among really believe this can happen.
Its all just a cruel sick game.
There is no Palestinians state or people for that matter, its another cruel sick joke.
When things calm for a bit many will talk once again about the plight of the Palestinians.
Its conversation that has a twisted need to continue.
The free world will continue to suffer from wackos who want to establish Sharria law in the world,
The Arabs of Israel who call themselves Palestinians will continue to demand a state that they will never have and do not really want. Its all very crazy and very dangerous.
We bring up our children in a very dangerous world with very many crazy people.
For them Charlie Hebdo is just the beginning.
The worst is yet to come.
