Tragedy in Jerusalem

A tragedy of historical significance has occurred in Jerusalem last night with the assassination attempt of Rabbi Yehudah Glick by a would be assassin.
Rabbis Glicks only crime was and has been his unrelenting demand that Jews be allowed to pray at the holiest place to Jews in the world.
The Temple Mount.
This is where both temples stood and where all the prayers of Jews worldwide are directed.
The only place in the world that a Jew is not allowed to pray is the place that is most holy to the Jews.
There is only one place that is considered holy to the Jewish people and that is the place that the holy temples stood.
This situation cannot continue as is.
All people whether Jew or gentile must demand from their representatives or whoever has any influence that this outrage must cease. This crime and subsequent apparent elimination of the would be assassin may restart the Intifada or Arab rioting in Jerusalem and elsewhere.
The now hollow statement by then commander Motta Gur of the IDF that "the temple mount is in our hands" is especially difficult to deal with now.
The main reason Jews are not allowed to pray on the temple mount is the fear and threats of local Arabs and non local ones.
This is supposed to keep things calm in the short and long term.
The problem with blackmail and extortion is the price always goes up.
The price has gone up as Rabbi Glick is in very serious condition at a Jerusalem hospital.
Extreme Islam is threatening the entire world with violence.
It must be stopped and the temple mount is a good place to start.

Is doing nothing a strategy?

Nothing seems to be the best word to describe The peace process between Israel and Palestinians.
Its all about nothing.
Nothing is often hard to sustain especially when everyone has been fed the lie and joke of a two state solution.
It is hard to admit that it is all rubbish and never really had a chance to begin with.
So what the next best option?
Just continue to say two state solution though all realize already that it will never happen.
A true leader says the truth to the world.
But Bibbi is a tactician and knows that it is just lip service at this point.
There has been endless negotiations and endless meetings that have gone nowhere.
Even wars and intifadas that have come and gone.
Why does the Leader of Israel continue to say the mantra of a two state solution?
Because he has nothing better to say.
The next prime minister may say something else I suppose.
Its all very bizarre.
