Jewish tragedy

It is the day of commemoration of all bad things that have happened to the Jewish people.
The fast of the 9th of Av.
So many bad things, so much blood spilt.
Jews sit on the ground and cry for what was and dream of what will be.
What was had the Jewish people in their homeland with complete sovereignty.
The exile from the land never severed the connection of the Jewish people to its land.
In fact this was strengthened and handed down from father to son.
The latest terrible tragedy the holocaust and its aftermath the founding of the State of Israel has changed things somewhat.
We see that the Jews are moving back to the land and have become able to defend itself.
There have been mini tragedies along the way including terrorist attacks and forcible Jewish expulsions by Jews themselves.
This day of sadness is a inspirational day for all who participate.
The hope of a complete return to Jerusalem has started manifesting itself.
Those with eyes open can see this.
As for those who deny this for them we will also lament on this saddest of days.
Jewish tears and hope have brought us much closer to the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem.
It will happen.
We all hope very soon.

Greek Debt

You gotta love em those Greeks!
They borrow money and more money and ostensibly refuse to pay back.
So there you go.
They say give us more with no strings attached.
Well that's terrific.
Why would anyone do that?
They should go back to their old currency which is ostensibly worthless and see where it takes them.
Their will be soon mass food and medicine shortages that will debilitate the country. There may not be fuel for hospitals and airports. The Drachma will be worth what it sounds like, drek. (nothing).
The black market will flourish and the Euro will still be used as a trusted currency.
. Peoples saving will be converted to Drachmas and will quickly lose value.
It may spiral out of control for regular Greeks but may bring relief to everyone else.
The Greeks are in for a very big surprise.
It won't be pretty.
